I know if you are anything like me, you’ve thought “hm…how can I get some alcohol with my Dole Whip?!” Well, even if you haven’t thought of that, you probably are now! Good thing you are here with me, cause I’m going to let you know exactly where to find it!

First, if you haven’t tried Dole Whip to begin with, there’s where you need to start. You can get it in Magic Kingdom and at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It’s a fluffy, smooth pineapple flavored deliciousness in a cup (or a cone)! And now, thanks to a trial run a few years ago at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, you can find it in Animal Kingdom permanently!

They don’t call it Dole Whip, but you do get your choice of rum and it’s perfect for a hot summer day! Or really any hot day in Florida…which could just be a Tuesday.

You can find it at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in the Africa Pavilion. Tamu Tamu means ‘Yum Yum’ in Swahili, so it makes sense that there are delicious offerings like the Rum Dole Whip!

Of course there are other ice cream and cold drink options, but I think that this one is the best. I am basing that off the fact that Dole Whip is amazing and this tastes like it. I think that really is all the reasoning I need!

As you can see, there are tasty desserts and variations on the Dole Whip that you can get. I had mine with Dark Rum because the CM said there was more alcohol content. For $8.50 I wanna get the biggest bang for my buck! And you could definitely tell!

I think there should be more mixing involved. All the rum was at the bottom and ended up being one big pineapple flavored shot! That easily could’ve been remedied by grabbing a straw and mixing myself, but I couldn’t find one!

There isn’t any seating directly around the little corner, but there is some across the sidewalk and around the back. All the same, I wandered around Animal Kingdom feeling a little odd drinking alcohol while in a children’s park, but it was delish! What rum would you pair with a tasty Dole Whip?
